Research Interests:

Currently, I am working in STC research center, Mid Sweden University, Sweden.  My research focus is embedded video processing systems particularly wireless smart cameras [overview].

The research interest include:

· Investigation of energy efficient and reconfigurable architectures for wireless Smart Cameras .

· Lightweight image and video coding for resource constrained platforms.

· Design methodologies, synthesis and implementation of solutions for  FPGA based embedded vision systems.

· Thermal and Visual imaging fusion to extract useful information from images.

Education:

· PhD Electronics Design, Mid Sweden University, Sweden, [2009-2013]. 

· Thesis title: “Energy efficient and programmable architecture for wireless vision sensor node”.   (Doctoral dissertation).

· Supervisor: ProfMattias O'Nils

· Licentiate of Technology (Electronics Design), Mid Sweden University, Sweden,[2009-2011]. 

· MS Electrical Engineering (System-on-Chip), Linköping University, Sweden, [2007-2009]. 

Honors/Awards:

· Best Demo award for PhD work by “Spring School in Surveillance S5, Italy”.

· Scholarship from HEC/SI for MS in Sweden.

· Merit scholarship for B.Sc.

· First position certificate in Matriculation in College.
