• Q: Can I write my assignments in Swedish?
  A: Yes, you can write in either Swedish or English, but please do not mix the two languages.


• Q: Is the tenta going to be in Swedish?
  A: The exam is set in both Swedish and English, so you have both versions to rely on. You may answer the questions in either Swedish or English.


• Q: Is it compulsory to attend the lectures?
  A: No, but it is strongly advisable.


• Q: Is it compulsory to attend the workshops?
  A: No, but it is strongly advisable. If the choice is between missing a lecture or missing the workshop, you should prioritise the workshop. The reason for this is that it is by solving exercises that you learn mathematics best!


• Q: Some parts of your HTML-pages look strange on my screen. There are weird symbols and question marks appearing in places where the PDF-files have normal mathematical notation. Some pages won't even open. Why is this? What am I doing wrong?
  A: You are probably not doing anything wrong. Such problems may be down to the browser you are using. I recommend using Mozilla's Firefox browser to view my webpages as generally this browser works well on all platforms. However, one exception are the tests in the pre-university revision pages, they need MS Internet Explorer to work.


• Q: I cannot open the PDF-files.
  A: You need to install Acrobat Reader on your computer. Acrobat Reader is free to download from Adobe.
