Design and manufacturing of silicon MOSFET

-         Project in Semiconductor- procession and physics

Task: Simulate and manufacture a Si MOSFET or DMOSFET.

Instructions:

Mount your account to the computer. In windows exploret, right click on this computer and choose map network drive. Write an \\zeus\<username> and use the buster password.

Start the cygwin tool found on your desktop.

bullet

run startxwin.sh (If you have a fatal warning, remove the file /cygwin/tmp/Xwin.log)

bullet

In the newly opened window type xhost+

bullet

run ipconfig and note the IP-adress for your local computer

bullet

Log into buster with ssh <username>@buster (if buster is unknown replace it with the ip 10.14.5.30)

bullet

run setenv DISPLAY <IP-adress>:0.0

   
ssh <username>@buster Log in on the Unix simulation machine
tsuprem4 <filename>.proc Run process simulation
md10000 <filename>.sim Run device simulation
tv2d& Program to study simulation results
ghostview&                                           Postscript image viewer

Observe that we only have 6 licences of each of the each simulation software. When you don’t used tv2d you must close it.
